Blue Symphony Orchestra
More than an Orchestra
WHO ARE WE?
The Blue Symphony Orchestra is the university's premier student-led orchestra, cultivating music appreciation in all its members and seeking to share this value within and beyond the LS community.
WHY JOIN US?
The Blue Symphony Orchestra provides an opportunity for people of all ages and experiences to come together in pursuit of a comprehensive, common goal through their dedication and willingness to learn, where both the music and its people have purpose.
Blue Symphony aims to be a haven for growth and learning, as a safe space where one can interact with people of all backgrounds, while sharing the same passions for music production and performance. This is a place where one can discover more about the self as an individual and the self as a part of a group or society in the context of music as an open, welcoming family.

YEARLY PROJECTS
Year-End Online Concert

The Year-End Online Concert is the culminating activity of the Blue Symphony Orchestra. Everything that was conceptualized at the start of the year, in all aspects of music design, logistics, sound mixing, video editing and performance, are showcased through a unified, common message or goal. This is the time for members to look back on what they learned throughout the year both as a person and as part of an orchestra group.
CAPprentice Program
The CAPprentice program is the avenue for aspiring composers and arrangers to learn more about expressing themselves and their musical ideas. Members learn fundamental music theory, with the opportunity to develop and create orchestral arrangements for concerts and other performances.
Production Workshops
Production workshops hone the skills of members towards managing and executing the processes within orchestral performances, be it onsite or online.
