Sectoral Representation
WHAT iS A sector?
A sector is defined as “an organized group of undergraduate students….who aim to represent their underrepresented interests by advocating for their common ideologies, principles and causes”
* Provisioned under 2016 Sanggunian Constitution and 2017 Electoral Code (Article XIV, Section 1)
* LIONS became a sector in April 2019 through a COMELEC Referendum
The CA is the
constitutional and official deliberating body and
legislative arm of the Sanggunian.
Comprising representatives of the different schools and sectors within the Loyola Schools and its administrative staff, the CA shall be the primary avenue for the exchange of ideas and advocacies of students and shall transform it into progressive policies that are directed towards the development of the Loyola Schools Student Body and its relative stakeholders.

LIONS repesents one Sector within the Central Assembly.
Who Represents LIONS?
By default, the elected Coordinator is the designated Sector Representative. However, COMELEC requires proof through a Resolution showing approval of the constituent organizations.
Their duties include, but are not limited to:
1. Participating in Central Assembly sessions
2. Voting in accordance with LIONS position
3. Passing resolutions and bills for independent organizations
