Fight Like A Girl
WHO ARE WE?
As a sector-based organization, Camp FLAG’s main objective is to provide career development opportunities to Filipino girls in high school to senior high school (ages 12-18) through various formative activities such as career exploration fairs, talks/panel discussions with empowering female role models, leadership development seminars, athletic skills clinics, art workshops, and more.
The heart and soul of Camp FLAG is our mentorship program where we connect all members of our organization to HS students interested in personal, academic, and/or professional development with the help of our mentors (you!). Camp FLAG is looking for select mentors who can guide our girls in any of the following areas: Academe, Creatives, Entrepreneurship, Performing Arts, Professional Development, and Sports.
WHY JOIN US?
Camp FLAG strives to change the narrative of “fighting like a girl” to fighting alongside girls in their pursuit of equal and ample opportunities in numerous traditionally male-dominated fields. We aim to equip our mentors and mentees with the fundamental tools needed to embody what it means to be both industry leaders and champions of women’s rights. As our organization emphasizes formative empowerment, members take up an active and meaningful role in the educational development of our girls. If you want to make an impact in the lives of Filipino female youth by sharing your passions and expertise, then this organization is the right place for you.
YEARLY PROJECTS
Mentorship
All Camp FLAG members participate in our year-long personalized mentorship program for the female youth from affiliated high schools, in order to assist and further advocate for the latter's career goals, passions, and interests within our capabilities.
Workshop and Career Development
From our very own skilled mentors to professional/corporate connections made by the organization, Camp FLAG offers free career development workshops, clinics, seminars, and the like to aid in building the skills necessary to succeed in our mentees’ respective fields.
Networking
Mentors and mentees can interact with and learn from an available network of experts and field leaders or discover new passions after attending talks and panel discussions featuring our trusted speakers.
